Day 142

Confession: I was raised within religion to serve men. It was a toxic ideology that left me defiant. But not against men—defiant against a system that wants men and women to be at odds. A cycle that’s been burned into generations to see gender over minds.
However, I don’t believe in equality, but equity.
All genders have real variance that matter, none of which are less important than the other. I know a lot of harm has been done and solutions are messy, I just wish that mutual care was more prevalent.
