About

Why 365 days of confessions?

“The commitment and consistency of projects causes me to duck away prematurely, and it’s destroying not only my self-confidence, but the stepping stones that lead toward my goals.

How can I achieve the impossible if I give up the moment something feels impossible?

These confessions-paired with photos, videos, and sound-are my way of reclaiming the person I’ve been disconnected from and challenging myself to complete something daunting, step by step. A deadline each day over 365 days. A year of no rushing, no slowing.

This is for me.”

Nadine Rivers is a director in the making, drawn to the untold stories of the underdog. A cult survivor living with CPTSD, they hope their work offers solace and understanding to others.

Rivers lives in British Columbia with their chaotic dog, 90’s pickup truck, and a deep desire to get the hell to Europe someday.
