Day 154

Confession: I used to play piano for the kids group at one of the churches I attended. I haven’t been back there since childhood because they protected a pedophile, and still do. He never laid a hand on me—for all I know—but he harmed people I care about and was even in my house at one point. Over the past year I’ve been mulling over going back, maybe find my way through the hallways and process some things. I’ve periodically had nightmares about that place—a labyrinth swallowing me up into hiding.
