Day 181

Confession: Myself, and a car in front of me, spotted a bear in a large creek and quickly pulled over at the same time to watch it.  When the woman stepped out of the passenger side of their vehicle, she got caught, struggled hopelessly and ate shit.

When she brought it up to me later—at the bridge—I laughed along as if I had no clue what had happened and checked if she was alright.

But truth is, I saw everything that had transpired. I pretended I hadn’t because I didn’t want her to feel embarrassed…and because after she plopped I couldn’t contain my amusement.  I’m so sorry.
