Day 257

Confession: As a kid, I spent a lot of time at this lake with family.  I used to sneak away into the mossy forest, barefoot, and see how close I could get around strangers without them noticing.

I’d eventually hear my name being called in the distance but I’d pretend I didn’t hear it.  I liked being alone, scampering off on my own secret mission.
