Confession: Tonight my friends and I watched the entire second season of Nathan Fielder’s The Rehearsal, and it broke me (for lack of a better term).
Aside from his genius and insane gumption—which I’m jealous of—it made me reevaluate how heavy a task it is.
I know the road I’m pursuing is only going to get harder from here, but it’s the ones who keep showing up over and over who get anywhere. This project is a desperate attempt to hold onto that.
I lose my grip constantly in a battle with myself over what I can and can’t do. There are so many limitations and I’m no stranger to rehearsing.
I spend hours doing it to fill the space.
But in less than a month this project will be over and in the New Year I’ll take everything I’ve learned to start something bigger.
And maybe I’ll take some flying lessons while I’m at it, since I’m scared of planes (never been in one) and that pisses me off.
